More Money On The Line Saturday For Bombers And Late Models
There will be a bit more on the line for drivers in the bomber and late model divisions at Redwood Acres Raceway this Saturday afternoon. Competition Carburetion and Eureka Oxygen have put together a $1000 purse for the main events in both divisions. An additional $50 will go to the driver who clocked the fastest lap time during the main event. Following the season, the fast time driver in the bombers and late models will be entered to a drawing for $2000. Along with the late models and bombers, roadrunners, mini stocks and Legends will be in action Saturday. The Legends division will be racing for an increased purse for the top five finishers with the winner receiving $500.
Once again, race fans will not be allowed to attend in-person due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic but the races will be streamed live on Redwood Acres Raceway’s Facebook page beginning at 3:00 PM. A test and tune is slated for Friday between 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
