2021 Season Begins May 1 With Fans, Full Schedule Coming Soon
Northern California race fans get revved up! Redwood Acres Raceway’s 2021 season is set to kick off in less than a month. The first race of the new campaign is scheduled for Saturday May 1. In addition, spectators will be allowed in the grandstands for the first time since the end of the 2019.
Humboldt County is currently in the red tier in regards to COVID-19 transmission rate which will allow Redwood Acres Raceway to host 800 spectators. Should the transmission rate drop into the orange tier, the raceway will be allowed to open to 1,300 fans.
Tickets for the season opening event on May 1 are $10 and will be available to be purchased on RacinTheAcres.com beginning at 12:00 PM Friday April 23. There will be a maximum purchase of four tickets per person. A test and tune for race teams is set for Saturday April 17 at 1:00 PM. Raceway officials will announce the full 2021 slate of events in the next week.
