Redwood Acres Raceway 2022 Tire Rules For The Legends Class
Legends tires must be USLCI marked Hoosier tires, as delivered by USLCI (for competition on asphalt). Tires may not be soaked, softened, sniped, needled, grooved, recapped or ground (no grinding or sanding of any sort). Tires are to be ran as is per dealer purchased. Tire warmers of any kind, or other means of artificially warming is prohibited. All racers caught with any kind of prepped tires will be disqualified for the full event.
It is prohibited to use any type of compound or substance that might alter the physical properties of a USLCI approved Hoosier tire for Redwood Acres Raceway. All tires will be inspected prior to timing in for any/all events.
Tires “qualified on” will be subject for all races for that event. Damaged, flat damaged, cut or tires with a safety issue will be replaced without penalty. Any competitor found replacing and/or changing tires after “time in” is subject to suspension for the event.
