Redwood Acres Raceway
June 4 Event Cancelled
Due to the bleak forecast for this Saturday June 4, Redwood Acres Raceway officials have made the tough decision to cancel this weekend’s race.
Saturday’s weather forecast calls for a nearly 100% chance of rain throughout the day. With the North State Modified Series visiting this weekend and the number of drivers and teams from out of the area that were expected to show up, track officials found it prudent to cancel the event.
Raceway officials will be looking to schedule a make-up date for this race.
The next race on the 2022 calendar at Redwood Acres Raceway is Friday June 24. The event will coincide with the return of the Redwood Acres Fair which is returning after COVID restrictions prevented it from happening the past two years. A full slate of late models, Legends, bombers, mini stocks and roadrunners will be racing on what should be an exciting night.
