Test And Tune Scheduled At Redwood Acres Raceway This Saturday
Race cars will be back on the track at Redwood Acres Raceway Saturday afternoon for the annual pre-season test and tune. While drivers will not be racing for big trophies or prize money, they will get the opportunity to prepare for the official start of the season later this month.
2023 will begin with the second annual Rhododendron 100 on Saturday April 29. The winner of the 100-lap late model feature will earn $3,000. Legends, bombers, mini stocks and roadrunners will also partake in the big event.
Other highlight events at the Acres in 2023 include the Gunslinger Sprint Cars on Friday May 12 and Saturday May 13, the Firecracker 100 on Saturday July 8, the Legends Of The Redwoods Shootout on Saturday July 29 and the annual season ending Fall Spectacular on Saturday September 23. The North State and Upstate Modifieds and well as the Upstate Bombers will also be racing at the 3/8-mile track this season.
