Fan Appreciation Night Rescheduled For September 9
Redwood Acres Raceway officials have announced that Saturday September 9 will serve as Fan Appreciation Night for 2023. The original date for the event was scheduled for August 16 but CAL FIRE’s use of the Redwood Acres Fairgrounds necessitated the cancellation of that race date.
Redwood Capital Bank and Vern’s Furniture will be presenting a packed night of racing for Fan Appreciation Night. The late models were not originally scheduled for the September 9 date but they have been added to the schedule. The Upstate Bomber Series will be visiting Redwood Acres Raceway for the second time in 2023. Local Legends and mini stocks will also be racing.
This is the second straight year that raceway officials have had to reschedule Fan Appreciation Night. Coincidentally, last year’s Fan Appreciation Night race originally scheduled for August 27 was moved to September 9.
All tickets that were purchased for the originally scheduled Fan Appreciation Night on August 26 will be honored for the September 9 date. Additionally, all tickets that were given away by drivers to fans for Fan Appreciation Night for August 26 will also be honored.
General admission tickets for Fan Appreciation Night are $10 and can be purchased online at RacinTheAcres.com. Tickets can also be purchased in-person at Automasters in Eureka, Don’s Rent-All in Eureka, McKinleyville Barbershop and JC Auto in Fortuna. Tickets will also be available at the front gate on race day. Grandstands will open at 4:00 with racing starting at 5:30. The event will also be livestreamed on RacinTheAcres.tv and SpeedSport.tv
