Redwood Acres Raceway To Host Fan Fest August 30

A big weekend of racing at Redwood Acres Raceway is set to get bigger. Raceway officials have expanded the August 31 event featuring the Spears SRL Southwest Tour Series, the Spears Modified Series and the Nor Cal Legend Series to include events for Friday August 30.

Besides the usual hot lap sessions for each division, Dash For Cash races will take place. In addition, fans will be able to meet drivers afterward in the pits.

Tickets for the event are $5 while children five and under are free. Friday’s action begins at 5:00.

Pre-sale tickets for the Saturday night event are now available at Don’s Rent-All in Eureka, JC Auto in Fortuna, McKinleyville Barbershop in McKinleyville and RacinTheAcres.com. Fans are encouraged to take advantage of the pre-sale discounts. Gates for Saturday open at 4:00 with racing starting at 5:00.
